Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and BJP State President K S Eshwarappa today filed application for anticipatory bail in the Lokayukta court following the filing of an FIR against him in connection with an allegation to the effect that he has amassed welath disproportionate to his known source of income.
Besides Mr Eshwarappa, his son K E Kantesh and daughter in-law R Shalini, who were also accused in a private complaint filed by Advocate V Vinod, had filed application for anticipatory bail.
Special Lokayukta Court Judge, on December 15, had ordered investigation into the complaint and had directed Lokayukta Deputy Supterintendent of Police to investigate and submit THE report by February 4-2013.
