Mixed trend in precious metals
A mixed trend was seen in the precious metals today, as Silver eased by Rs 10 to Rs 61,325 per kg while Gold rose by Rs 60 to Rs 30,985 per ten gm on good demand from stockists,traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.
Silver opened negative at Rs 61,240 per kg. Till the end of the session, it recovered from the opening level, but closed negative at Rs 61,325, down by Rs 10 per kg as against its previous close.
Gold also opened in red at Rs 30,880 per ten gm, but later rose by Rs 60 to end positive at Rs 30,985 per ten gm. Pure variety also moved up by Rs 40 to Rs 31,105 per ten gm.
A mixed trend was also seen in Asian Market, where Silver eased to USD 32.32 per ounce while Gold rose to USD 16.91 per ounce.
