Kerala will take necessary steps to ensure advanced medical care to PDP Leader Abdul Nasser Maudany, who is jailed in Karnataka in connection with 2008 Bangalore serial blast case, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told the State Assembly today.
Replying to questions in this regard by CPM MLA M A Baby and Congress Member Ramesh Chennithala, the Chief Minsiter said a letter was already sent to the Karnataka Government urging to provide better medical care to Maudany.
However, in its reply, the Karnataka Government submitted all the records of the medical treatments extended to Maudany in the jail, the Chief Minister clarified.
The Government would again approach the Karnataka Government in this regard, he added.
