All I want for Christmas is my mum and dad to be together, says Tamara Ecclestone

Tamara Ecclestone, who appears to be the girl who has everything with a 45-million-pound home in London, 120 pairs of Louboutin shoes and a dad worth 1.8 billion pounds, wants one thing the most for Christmas but can't have - for her parents to still be together.

The 28-year-old heiress was devastated when her dad Bernie and mum Slavica split in 2009 only for her father to marry Brazilian beauty Fabiana Flosi in the summer without telling her.

Like thousands of Brits with divorced parents, Tamara she now has to decide who to spend Christmas with.

"There is a selfish part of you that wanted them to just sort it out and stay together," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"When I thought about things like Christmas and who was I going to spend it with it, it really upset me," she said.

What hurt her even more was that her F1 mogul dad got married in their Swiss home in Gstaad, where the Ecclestones had spent many happy Christmases.

"It sucks because we always had a family Christmas. So that was really hard to deal with," she said.

"I love Christmas. All of my Christmases growing up were amazing. We would be in Switzerland in the snow and would go skiing in the afternoon. But times have changed now. It's sad.

"When they divorced I found it hard to deal with. It was a big change and I'm not good with change.

"Then seeing my dad with someone else was a real shock. I knew they were going to get married but I didn't know the ins and outs because he said he wanted to keep it private.

"I also think he was trying to protect us in a way, out of loyalty to my mother so we didn't feel bad about it.

"It was a rocky road, but now we are in a better place.

"It was really tough going for a while but my parents are happier away from each other and that makes me happy," she added.
