A delegations of SCs and STs, including Banjara women called on Chief Minister Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy at the Camp Office and thanked him for the enactment and passing of the SC-ST sub plan bill in the Andhra Pradesh legislature recently.
They hailed Mr Reddy for providing a clean, transparent and efficient administration in the State as never before.
The delegation said the Chief Minister has done admirable work for the poorest of the poor, the downtrodden, the youth, women and above all for the SCs and STs.
They said the Chief Minister is providing a peaceful, honest and unbiased administration and the people are very happy about it.
The Chief Minister said he was doing the work without much fanfare and is committed to the uplift of the weaker sections, SCs, STs and minorities.
The mess charges for the students were hiked and said it was a steep hike as never before. He said recruitment to 60,000 government posts is now on and 1.25 lakh vacancies will be filled up in the government offices mostly through APPSC in a most transparent manner.
The Chief Minister said educated youth in the State have great opportunities as never before, an official release here said.
