Crucial match for Mumbai against Saurashtra

Mumbai, who are in fifth position with eleven points, will have to work hard when they take on Saurashtra here tomorrow in a Group A Ranji match at the Saurashtra Cricket Stadium at Khanderi, on the outskirts of the city.

Mumbai Captain Ajit Agarkar told reporters here today that the match is very important for his team and they will try to perform well and get as many points.

Agarkar admitted that his Team has not done well so far in the five matches which they had played so far. All matches had ended in a draw. They have good batting line up such as Wasim Jaffar, Rohit Sharma, A Rahane, A Nayar and have good bowlers such as Dhaval Kulkarni, Iqbal Abdulla, Ankit Chauhan and the captain himself.

Saurashtra, who is in third position with 15 points, will rely on their youngsters but will miss all rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Cheteshwara Pujara, who are doing duty for India at Nagpur.

Jaydev Shah, Saurashtra Captain, said youngsters will get the chance and they should grab the opportunity and perform well.

Saurashtra had also played five matches so far and of them they lost one match and won one match and the remaining ended in draw. The Saurashtra Captain admitted that Mumbai Team is also strong in all departments.
