11 pilgrims injured in ghat road accident

At least 11 pilgrims were injured, two of them seriously, when a jeep in which travelling over turned on Tirupati-Tirumala ghat road today.
The mishap occurred when the devotees proceeding to Tirumala to offer worship to Lord Venkateswara, police here said.
The injured were admitted to a Government Ruia hospital here.
The condition of two of them was stated to critical, police added.
