UP: Attempt to murder case against Louise Khurshid
A member of social activist turned politician Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Vivek Yadav, has filed a case of loot, dacoity and attempt to murder against External Affair's Minister Salman Khurshid's wife Louise Khurshid, reports said on Friday.
Yadav, who is the district president of the political outfit in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, has alleged that there was an attempt to run them over when they were showing black flags to Louise when she came to Mainpuri town on Wednesday in order to inaugurate an eye check-up camp.
Yadav alleged that Lousie's car tried to run over him and his colleague.
Yadav has lodged a complaint against 10 other Congress workers and supporters, including district Congress president Prakash Pradhan, the police said.
He alleged that Pradhan aimed at them with his revolver after Khurshid's car attempted to run over him and his colleague.
Pradhan has filed a counter First Information Report (FIR) against Yadav where he alleged the AAP member and his supporters attacked Congress workers and looted their mobile phones, the police said.
The police said they have started investigating into the matter.
