Silver, Gold fall
The precious metals drifted lower today with Silver declining by Rs 350 to Rs 61,940 per kg and Gold fell by Rs 270 per ten gm to Rs 30,845 on lack of demand from stockists alongwith discouraging advice in global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.
Silver dropped by Rs 270 per kg in the opening session. till the end of the session it further lost by Rs 350 to close at Rs 61,940 from its last close.
Standard gold fell by Rs 285 per ten gm in the opening session.
Finally, standard and pure gold finished at Rs 30,845 and Rs 30,980 per ten gm respectively.
Standard and pure gold slipped by Rs 270 and Rs 260 per ten gm respectively.
The prcious metals were down in Asian Markets, where Gold was quoted at USD 16.94 an ounce and Silver at USD 32.78 per ounce.
