Katie Holmes was spotted trying to comfort her daughter Suri, who was seen bursting into tears during an outing with her mother, as she left an office building in New York.
The 33-year-old actress crouched down so she was closer to Suri's height and held on tight to the youngster's hand, the Daily Mail reported.
It was unclear what the matter was, but Katie didn't seem too worried as she gave a little smile and simply appeared to be focused on getting the six-year-old home.
All had been well between the mother and daughter duo earlier on when they were seen enjoying a Big Apple outing while bundled against the cold in their lookalike ensembles.
