National Squash championship starts Dec 18
The Calcutta Racket Club will hold the 60th National Squash championship beginning at its premises in south Kolkata from Dec 18.
The six-day championship will see the action of country's top players, including national champions Saurav Ghosal, Jyotsna Chinappa and several ranking players of India, Calcutta Racket Club chairman R N Ghosal on Thursday said.
Under the aegis of Squash Racket Federation of India, the meet will have 5 rounds of qualifying matches are being played on Dec 18 and 19.
Four qualifiers will join the main draw of 16 players starting Dec 20.
The event promises world-class squash in events of Men's, Women's, Professionals, Masters over 35 years, over 40 years, over 45 years, overs 50 years, and over 55 years, according to CRC's chairman R N Ghosal.
