Plane makes emergency landing after child's death
A passenger aircraft made an emergency landing in the Russia Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk after a five-year-old child died during the flight, said authorities.
"A five-year-old child died on the morning of Dec 13 on board of a Boeing-777 aircraft en route from Moscow to Khabarovsk," a statement from the transportation investigative department said.
During the flight the child was not feeling well and his health condition was only deteriorating. The captain of the plane's crew decided to make an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk.
"However, despite all the efforts, doctors officially pronounced the death of the child...," the statement said.
