Software pioneer John McAfee sells rights to story to Montreal production company

Anti-virus software pioneer John McAfee, who has been on the run in Central America, has sold the intellectual rights of his life story to TV production company in Montreal, Impact Future Media.
The project is tentatively titled, "Running in the Background: The True Story of John McAfee."
"Mr. McAfee has entrusted us with his life story, and that is a responsibility we take very seriously," Francois Garcia, CEO of Impact Future Media, said in a statement Monday.
According to the New York Daily News, McAfee, 67, remains locked up in Guatemala, where he tried to seek asylum after fleeing Belize.
McAfee said that he was attracted to the proposal because of the company's 'dedication to the truth'.
The production company however said that it would either license, publish or develop the story across multiple platforms.
