Tourists flock to Solang to enjoy season's second snowfall
A large number of tourists enjoyed the second snowfall of the season in the hill town of Solang Nala in Himachal Pradesh, with the temperature plummeting in the upper reaches of the region.
Crowd of tourists, draped in a thick white blanket, made a beeline and welcomed the scenic winter and enjoyed various snow sports.
"This is my second honeymoon and I am enjoying a lot as the weather is pleasant. We are fully enjoying the snowfall. This is season's second snowfall and this is my first experience. I am really enjoying," said Girsih Ahuja, a tourist.
Snow sports enthusiasts also enjoyed variety of winter sports like Skiing, snow scooter riding sledging on natural snow.
Another tourist, Rinni Ahuja said: "It is really nice. I am enjoying a lot and it's a lifetime experience. It's very nice."
Local people engaged in tourism business are expecting more snowfall and thereby capitalise on the season.
The economy of picturesque Himachal Pradesh is dependent on tourism.
