Alastair calls Eden win finest moment of life
England captain Alastair Cook on Sunday said winning the3rd Test against India at Eden Gardens on Sunday was his finest moment of life.
The England captain praised his team mates and coaching staff saying they provided
very good side to come at this point.
England in the current 4-Test series already India won two matches in Mumbai and Kolkata after a defeat in the first in Ahmedabad.
Winner of the Man of the Match at Eden Cook said they would keep same pressure on the rivals in Nagpur to keep the momentum going.
" It is a great performance at Eden as everyone performed from one to 11 and that's what you need in these conditions, " Cook said.
He said on the fourth day getting six wickets in quick succession had helped them win the match early.
Cook, who made third hundred of the series, making it five tons in five matches as Test captain, has become England's leading century maker and the youngest batsman to pass 7,000 Test runs.
"I have been hitting the ball all right on this tour. It is nice to contribute to the team's success.To score runs here you got to bat a long period of time. I had a bit of luck on and I managed to cash in," Cook said.
