India thrashes Nepal by 249 runs
Stung by the loss against Pakistan in their last match, India went on a rampage against Nepal to win by margin of 249 runs at the Aditya Global Sports Ground, here today.
A triple century partnership (317 off 111 balls) between Ajay Kumar Reddy (128 off 43 balls) and Hanuman Pooniya (120 off 50 balls) sealed the fate of Nepal.
After winning the toss, India elected to bat and sent Napal bowlers on leather hunt with Ajay K Reddy smacking 21 fours and a six and Hanuman Pooney hitting 25 fours. Subash Bhoya (B1) chipped in with a 58 off only 18 deliveries.
The Nepalese chase was doomed from the beginning with Dilip Munde (B2) grabbing 2 wickets for 8 runs in his 3 overs.

Bangladesh who were put to bat first were bundled out for 91 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs. Pakistani openers took to the chase like a breeze with Ali Murtaza scoring 56 off 21 balls. The fully blind category player Mohammad Ayyaz was adjudged the Man of the Match for hitting a meaty 22 off just 8 balls and helping Pakistan to wrap up the match in just 4.1 overs. Pakistan was led by vice captain Mohammad Jameel (B3) in place of skipper Zeeshan Abbasi (B2) who was indisposed.
Pakistan now boast of an all-win record up to now while Bangladesh are yet to register a win in the tournament.
