Kerala govt mulling concession for bank loan taker

The state government was seriously considering whether it could be possible to provide concession to those who repay bank loan without any default in the cooperative sector, Kerala Excise Minister K Babu said today.

The Minister was speaking here after inaugurating 'Revenue Recovery Adalat'.

Such 'Adalats' would be a great boon for those who were struggling to repay bank loans, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Ernakulam District Collector P I Sheikh Pareed said necessary steps should be take to spread such bank Adalats to Taluk level.

A sum of Rs 1.25 crore bank dues have been waved in the Adalat.
