The M Chinnaswamy Stadium of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has been handed over to security personnel to ensure proof security during T20 match between Pakistan and India on December 25, KSCA General Secretary Javgal Srinath said today.
Replying to a question at a press conference here, he said that 'the Stadium has already been handed over the security persons.' He said a new pavilion at the 'Gangothri Glades Platinum Grounds' will be opened tomorrow. The new pavilion was an improvement of the grounds and it will have separate dressing rooms for the players of each team.
The Stadium would be further developed with state of the art Gym in the coming days. At present there were only two turf wickets in the city and they looking out for more such turf wickets so that all the league matches could be organized.
Srinath said similar kind of pavilions would be built in all six zonal centers and Shimoga and those at Hubli-Dharwar would be be opened by this month end.
He expressed his intention to have alternative stadium for Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore, probably if it is in Mysore city.
