Karnataka Governor H R Bhardwaj has accepted the Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar's recommendation to drop Minister for Cooperation B J Puttaswamy from the Cabinet.

Following a decision taken at the BJP Core Committee meeting at New Delhi this morning, Mr Shettar had faxed a recommendation to the Governor to drop Mr Puttaswamy from the Cabinet.
