Project oustees who lost their land to Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala under Ramanathali Panchayat would be organising an agitation against the State Government for allegedly cheating them.
A signature campaign had already began, claimed Mr C Ravi and Mr P Ratheesh, General Convener and President of Project Oustees Committee.
Talking to reporter here today, Mr Ravi said the state government had cheated the oustees, including offering jobs in the INA.
The then state government had made many promises which were not fulfilled till date.
About 8,000 people belonging to 1,500 families were evacuated within 14 days after issuing notices and only limited amounts given as compensation.
Many families were depending on agriculture for livelihood and the land provided by the government in lieu was not suitable for farming, they claimed.
