Tamil Nadu CM distributes assistances to Ex servicemen

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today distributed a host of welfare assistance to families of ex-servicemen as part of the Flag Day celebrations.
An official release here said she distributed cash assistance to ex-servicemen and their wards and cash compensation to families of defence personnel hailing from the state, who were killed while saving the country, among others.
She also contributed a sum of Rs 10,000 towards Flag Day fund to the District Collector (in-charge) of Chennai, the release said.
Those who received welfare assistance from the Chief Minister expressed their gratitude to her for reaching out to the families of ex-servicemen.
