Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer L V Subramanyam today said special training was being imparted to the staff of the Lord Venkateswara temple for treating the devotees cordially and enable them to have a plesant darsan.
Responding to complaints of devotees being pushed around and treated roughly in the temple, the TTD Executive Officer said it was an unpleasant task for temple employees, but all efforts were being made to ensure that devotees get the maximum time possible for darshan and prevent unsavory incidents.
Mr Subramanyam said for Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi festivals on December 23 and 24 TTD will make fool proof arrangements for providing darshan of Lord Venkateswara for a large number of devotees from all over the country.
To a question on enabling closer darshan of Lord Venkateswara, to devotees, he said the ever growing number of Pilgrims has been putting huge pressure and it was difficult to provide closer darshan to every devotee for the time being.
However, efforts are made to provide 'good darshan' to the common man whenever there was no 'crowd pressure', he said.
