The Secretariat Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) leaders, headed by Chairman Narendar Rao and Secretary General G Suresh Kumar met with Chief Secretary Ms Minnie Mathew this sevening and explained her the necessity to grant the long pending demands pertaining to Secretariat employees immediately.
The JAC leaders also thanked the Chief Secretary for initiating steps to solve the problems before introducing the new Employees Health Care System.
A signed statement by Mr Rao and Kumar issued to the media here tonight said we already given notice to resolve our demands before December five. But, nothing happened so far.
However, becasue of the importance of health cards issue, we did not start any agitation.
Since the issue was resolved now it is requested that their demands may kindly be resolved immediately without any further delay failing which we may go under strike, at any time.
The demands included, appointment of Tenth Pay Revision Commission immediately, introduction of five-day week filling up of the vacancies of office subordiantes in the secretariat including sports quota on permanent basis and among others.
