Crude oil price: Indian Basket falls sharply
New Delhi, Dec 7 (IBNS)
The international crude oil price for Indian Basket as computed/published on Friday by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas came fell sharply to USUSD 106.45/barrel (bbl) on Dec 6 from to USUSD 108.03/bbl on the previous trading day's figures of Dec 5. In rupee terms also, the crude oil price come down to Rs 5798.33 per bbl on Dec 6 from Rs 5895.20 per bbl on Dec 5.
This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation.
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on Dec 6 was Rs 54.47/USUSD against Rs 54.57 per USUSD on previous trading day of Dec 5.
