In 2009, Hawaldar Santosh Gawas was caught on mobile phone's camera by his own colleagues indulging in oral sex with a prostitute in the police control room van.
Constables Pritesh Naik and Sahadev Sawal had filmed the act. All were subsequently suspended on Dec 5, 2009 after wide media coverage.
Three years after the departmental inquiry, the Goa Police Establishment Board ordered dismissal of Gawas and Naik.
IRB constable Sawal has been re-instated with 'reduction in payment and postponement of future increments'.
