The Industries and Commerce department of the Karnataka government will hold a two-day Global Aerospace Industry meet to attract investments in the sector on December 10 and 11.
More than 100 companies are expected to participate in the meet organised along with the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI) Laghu Udyog Bharti, Karnataka Udyog Mitra, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, IMS Foundation and Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
The two-day meet would provide necessary forum for the industry players to interact for mutual collaboration and leverage on the defence offset policy, according to an official release here.
The state government would highlight its achievements and infrastructure for growth of aerospace and defence industries, A panel discussion on Growth of Aerospace and Defence Sector Industries through Collaboration and Partnership would also be held, the release said.
Separate business to business meetings would also be held during the two day meet.
