Silver, Gold fall
The precious metals continued to slip for the third day today, with Silver crashing by Rs 900 to Rs 61,550 per kg and Gold dropped by Rs 390 to Rs 30,700 per ten gm, on lack of demand from industrial users coupled with discouraging advice from Asian Markets.
Silver drifted lower by Rs 775 per kg in the opening session.
Finally, it finished at Rs 61,550 sliding by Rs 900 per kg as compared to its previous close.
Similarly, Gold which was down by Rs 305 per ten gm in the opening session, tumbled further by Rs 390 per ten gm from its previous close.
Standard and pure gold ended at Rs 30,700 and Rs 30,840 per ten gm respectively.
In Asian Market, the same scene was seen, as Gold edged down to USD 16.95 an ounce and Silver at USD 30.88 per ounce.
