Independent MP withdraws FEMA motion

Independent MP Hasan Khan Wednesday withdrew his motion to amend the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) to allow entities with up to 51 percentforeign equity in India's multi-brand retail trade segment.
Saying that he was satisfied by the government's reply, Khan withdrew his motion.
