24 Kashmiri orchardists to visit Himachal Pradesh

Under Horticulture Mission for North East and Himalayan States (HMNEHS), a group of 24 orchadists from north Kashmir will visit Himachal Pradesh (HP).
Officials said here today that the orchadists were selected from different parts of the Bandipora district under the HMNEHS.
Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO), Bandipora, flagged off the group from Bandipora, they said.
The CHO said the farmers are deputed to various research centres and other institutions for exposure visit-cum-training programme in order to boost the horticulture sector.
He said that these orchardists will make visit of CSKVV Palampur, IHVT Palampur and KVK Bajonre Kullu in Himachal Pradesh during 7 days tour.
