Court extends judicial remand of Jagan to Dec 19

The II Additional Special CBI Court here today extended the judicial remand of YSR Congress Party president Y S Jagan Mohan reddy till December 19 in the disproportionate assets case against him.

Earlier, mid tight security, Jagan, former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao, Nimmagadda Prasad and Brahmananda Reddy, all accused in the illegal assets case, Obulapuram Mining Company Case Accused Gali Janardhan Reddy, Srinivasa Reddy, Gali's Personal Assistant Ali Khan and V D Ragagopal and Sunil Reddy in Emaar case were brought in special vehicles by police to the court from Chanchalguda jail as the Principal Special CBI Court Judge at Nampally U Durga Prasada Rao, who was hearing the case,was on leave.

The additional CBI court has no video-linkage facility from the Chanchalguda Jail and in view of this, the accused in the three different cases were present in the court.
