Karnataka Chief Minister Jagdish Shettar today said the BJP government was not afraid of facing a floor test if the opposition Congress moves a no confidence motion during the winter session which began here today.
Speaking to reporters here he claimed that his government was stable and will complete its full term.
Congress was seriously contemplating moving a no confidence motion following the rebellion by Mr B S Yeddyurappa who has launched his own political outfit and now boasts of support of a large group of BJP MLAs.
Replying to a query, Mr Shettar said it was unfortunate that the Lingayat strongman left the BJP but said formation of Karnataka Janata Party by the Former Chief Minister had not resulted in any confusion in his party.
