The Lok Sabha will discuss the issue of India-China border and various matters related to it like reported Chinese infiltration during the current session, Speaker Meira Kumar said today.
She said she would permit such a discussion if the members gave a notice for that.
Her decision came in response to the agitation caused among the memebrs as Minister for External Affairs Salman Khurshid while answering a question said that there was no agreement between China and India on the Line of Actual Control.
When the Opposition members created an uproar over his answer, Mr Khurshid tried to explain saying that they should first let him complete his reply.
He said what he meant to say was that the Chinese side did not see LAC the same way as India did, but the members were in no mood to listen.
In the meantime the Question Hour was over. In the continuing din former Defence Minister and SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav was also seen saying something but his words were not audible.
Sensing the members' concern, the Speaker said she would have a discussion on the issue and the members should give a notice for that.
