The northeast Monsoon has been vigorous over Rayalaseema.The lowest minimum temperature of 4.1 deg C. has been recorded at Churu (West Rajasthan) in the plains of the country. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Haryana and were below normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya,West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir,east Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Gujarat state and in remaining parts of Odisha; appreciably above normal in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra, Telanagana and coastal and north interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Jammu and Kashmir. they were above normal in some parts of Uttarakhand, west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh,coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala and in remaining parts of Assam and Meghalaya and of Gujarat state. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy to rains are likely to occur at many places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttarakhand, coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telanagana, north interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Heavy to very heavy rains have occurred at many places in Rayalaseema and at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in south interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed in Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and north interior Karnataka.
