Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders today, took strong exception to the comments, made by expelled TDP MLA Kodali Venkateswara Rao alias Nani say that he had no moral right to utter the name of N T Rama Rao as he joined the YSRCP for personal gains.

Addressing a press conference, Krishna district TDP President and MLA Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao alleged that Kodali Nani betrayed the TDP by joining YSR Congress Party. Taking strong exception to his comments and challenges, the TDP leader said the people of the constituency would teach a lesson to him.

The TDP gave him party ticket and funds, and he won the election due to the charisma of former Chief Minister and TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu, and now he was blaming the party.

Mr.Umamaheshwara Rao alleged that the YSRCP is buying the TDP MLAs with huge money. TDP general secretary Varla Ramaiah recalled that the defected MLA earlier alleged that Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy was behind the murder of TDP MLA Paritala Ravi and questioned how did he join the party.
