Opposition leader in Kerala Assembly V S Achuthanandan today alleged that State Industries Minister P K Kunjhalikutty was involved in a conspiracy to frame him in the land transfer case.

Talking to reporters here, he alleged that Kunjhalikutty was misusing the Vigilance Department against him as part of political revenge. He said this while reacting to government's move to seek permission from the state Governor to prosecute him in the alleged land gifting case.

An FIR was already been filed by the investigation agency, listing him as the first accused in the case.

It was alleged that norms have been violated for allotting land to T K Soman, an ex-serviceman and his close relative, in Kasaragod district, when he was Chief Minister in the previous LDF government.

Achuthanandan also said he would also go ahead with the cases against Kunjhalikutty for his alleged role in the ice-cream-sex parlour case.
