Railway ministry to run winter special Train in Andhra Pradesh

Ministry of Railways have decided to run winter special trains, to clear extra rush in regular trains and to provide comfort journey to passengers.

East Coast Railway (ECR) Senior Divisional Commercial Manager M Yelvender Yadav yesterday said, "Train Number 08041 Santragachhi (Howrah)-Chennai Express will leave from Santragachhi at 1230 hrs on Sundays between December 9 to December 30, 2012 and arrive at Visakhapatnam on Mondays at 0230 hrs and depart at 0250 hrs and reach Chennai at 1700 hrs the same day.

In the return direction, Train no 08042 Chennai-Santragachhi Express will leave Chennai at 1100 hrs on Tuesdays between December 4, 2012 to January 1, 2013 and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 1210 hrs (Midnight) that is early hours of Wednesday and depart at 1230 hrs and reach Santragachhi at 1415 hrs on the same day.

This pair will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Gudur between Santragachhi and Chennai.

Composition: Two AC-2 tier, Nine Sleeper Classes, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans.

The Train Number 08635 Hatia-Yesvantpur Express will leave from Hatia at 0940 hrs on Thursdays between December 6 to 27, 2012 and arrive at Visakhapatnam on Friday at 0130 hrs and depart at 0150 hrs and reach Yesvantpur 2200 hrs on the same day.

In the return direction Train no. 08636 Yesvantpur-Hatia Express will leave Yesvantpur at 0830 hrs on Saturdays between December 8 to 29, 2012 and arrive Visakhapatnam on Sunday at 0500 hrs and depart at 0520 hrs and reach Hatia at 0230 hrs on the same day.

This pair will stop at Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Bolangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, oČngole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpeta, Bangarapet, and Krishnarajpuram between Hatia and Yesvantpur.

Composition: Two AC-2 tier, Nine Sleeper Classes, Three General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition.
