Dennis Quaid files for divorce from wife of 8 years

Dennis Quaid filed for divorce from his wife Kimberly Buffington in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, after she sought legal separation from him in October.
According to the petition, the 58-year-old actor has requested joint physical and legal custody of their 4-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe, and offers to pay spousal support, People magazine reported.
This will be the third divorce for 'The Day After Tomorrow' star who was previously married to Meg Ryan and PJ Soles.
Kimberly initially filed for divorce in March, but put it on hold a month later, pulling the papers so that the couple could work on their marriage, before filing for separation.
