6 IPS officers transferred in Punjab

The Punjab Government today transferred six IPS officers in the state with immediate effect.
Stating this here today, a spokesman for the Punjab Government said that Mr Dinkar Gupta, posted as ADGP/Security, has also been given the additional charge of Law and order, reliving Mr S K Sharma from the additional charge of Law and Order.
Mr Kuldeep Singh has been posted as IG/Community Policing and Training and Mr R P S Brar as IG/Moderninsation vice Mr Kuldeep Singh.
Mr B Chander Sekhar has been posted as IG/Vigilance, Mr Harpreet Singh Sidhu as IG/Crime and Mr Kaustubh Sharma as DCP/Amritsar.
