Americans named 'world's worst tourists'
Americans are the stereotype of the "ugly American" when they travel, a new survey has revealed.
According to USA Today, the survey, which was carried out by LivingSocial and Mandala Research, polled 5,600 respondents from five countries - 4,000 of whom were Americans and other respondents were in Australia, Canada, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The survey also revealed that four in 10 U.S. survey-takers said they'd stolen something and #65533; mostly towels and bathrobes, while other popular items taken included pillows, remote controls, Bibles and sheets, Fox News reported.
The most common vacation disasters, according to American respondents, were lost luggage on an airline, bad weather and getting lost.

U.S. - 20 percent
China - 15 percent
France - 14 percent
Japan - 12 percent
Russia - 11 percent
Korea - 9 percent
India - 9 percent
Germany - 8 percent
Spain - 7 percent
Britain - 5 percent
