Two teenage boys were drowned to death while taking dip in a sarover at Kapal Mochan in Yamunanagar district today.
They were identified as Prince and Ankush, residents of village Gianewala.
Stating this today, Yamunanagar Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sangwan said that Additional Deputy Commissioner Satbir Singh Saini would look into the circumstances leading to their death and further action would be taken on the basis of his report.
He said that while taking bath in the tank, these boys reached its middle and were drowned. Within five minutes fireman Sanjeev took them out and they were admitted to the hospital in Bilaspur from where they were taken to trauma centre, Yamunanagar.
However,they could not be revived and were declared dead by the doctors.
Condoling their death, Mr Sangwan said that Rs one lakh each would be given to the parents or guardians of both deceased boys from Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
Every possible help would also given by the District Administration to the members of the bereaved families.
