Chris Brown's twitter row with Jenny Johnson spurs death threat probe
The Twitter feud between Chris Brown and TV host Jenny Johnson has got out of hand as it has led to an investigation on the death threats received by the latter.
The 26-year-old TV personality, who was threatened and insulted by Brown's fans after her spat with the singer on Twitter, asserted that the investigation is being done to find out who is behind these death threats.
"We are doing a bit of investigating... to see who are writing them and if they should be taken seriously -- or just something we need to ignore. We are trying to discover if it's just a bunch of kids goofing off or something else," Contactmusic quoted Johnson as telling Celebuzz.
The 23-year-old rapper left the micro-blogging site soon after a brief return.
"I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing," Johnson said about Brown's decision to stop posting messages.
When asked if she intended on taking the matter further, Johnson said that "only time will tell. I'm just letting it go right now."
