New courses in Kerala varsity

Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) will start five post graduation courses, including Physical Oceanography and Ocean Modelling, Fisheries Management and Finance/Marketing/ H.R./ Rural Management, Biological Oceanography and Biodiversity, Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology and Fisheries Economics.
Announmcing this at a news conference KUFOS Vice Chancellor Dr N Madhusoodana Kurup said that Kerala Fisheries would inaugurate the course at the University headquarters on November 30.
The University has prepared many developmental projects, spending a sum of Rs 700 crore during the 12 th five year plan, he said adding that the University had already received a sum of Rs 66 crore during the financial year 2012-2013.
All the new courses will begin during the current acadamic year, he added.
