The Kerala Government today decided to open a DYSP office and a Police Control room at Nadapuram, considering the prevailing tense situation there, Minister for Rural Development and Culture K C Joseph said .
Briefing newspersons on the decisions taken at the Cabinet meeting here, Mr Joseph said as per the recommendation of the Home Department, 60 new posts will be sanctioned for the purpose.
He said the minimum fare in auto rickshaws has been hiked to Rs 15 in the state.
