CRPF jawan and a civilian injured in Bijbehara grenade blast
Hours after killing of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan in a militant attack on a camp in Srinagar, militants struck again in south Kashmir hurling a hand grenade on a patrol patry injuring another jawan and a civilian this evening, official sources said.
Militants hurled a hand grenade on a Road Opening Party (ROP) of CRPF at Bijbehara in Anantnag at 1730 hours this evening.
A CRPF jawan and a civilian received splinter injuries in the attack, sources said adding the area has been cordoned off and a search launched to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
Earlier in the wee hours a CRPF jawan was killed in a militant attack in Bemina area of the city.
