White House offers home-made brew as take-away to enthusiasts
A dozen small business owners, who met President Obama, not only got a taste of the home made brew at the White House, but also got to carry it home.
One particularly excited Deborah Carey, founder and president of New Glarus Brewing Co. in Wisconsin, said the meeting went well and concerned the fiscal cliff, Politico reported.
But her most enthusiastic remarks were about the contents of a swag bag, embossed with the presidential seal that she carried on her arm.
Inside, she said, were bottles of the coveted White House home brew.
"I got beer! I got beer from the White House!" Carey said as she left.
