Becks frightens Snoop Dogg in 'Christmas Carol' spoof shoe ad
David Beckham plays a cartoon ghost in a new hilarious Scooby Doo-style advert for a shoe company.
Adidas roped in the 37-year-old footballer and other stars for the Christmas web campaign.
Rapper Snoop Dogg plays Ebenezer Snoop in the advertisement, which is a spoof of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol,' the Daily Star reported.
In the ad, the 41-year-old singer needs help from a host of stars - including Brit singer Rita Ora, 22, and US basketball player Derrick Rose, 24 - to get his Christmas spirit back, the paper said.
"I'm the ghost of holiday present. You sir have been a real ball. Things just aren't the same when you're not in the game," Beckham says in the ad.
In reply to which Dogg says, "You know you a boss when people wanna see you in animated form."
Christy Kilmartin, of Adidas, said, "It offers a digital alternative to the normal holiday card in true Adidas style."
