The inter-Ministerial Committee constituted under the Chairmanship of Odisha Finance Minister Prasanna Acharya will soon recommend the raw material requirement of the industries in a transparent, equitable and fair manner.
Steel and Mines Minister Rajanikanta Singh told newspersons the meeting would be held again very shortly to recommend to the government.
The inter-ministerial committee was asked to suggest its recommendation to the government latest by January 30.
Mr Singh said out of the 49 companies who have signed MoU with the state government to set up industries, 30 have already started partial production.
The committee would assess their raw material requirement for optimum production and would make recommendations for long term linkage.
The committee, he said, would take the views of the experts in the field and the MMTC before making the recommendations, he said.
