New born tiger cub dead
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 27 (UNI)
A new born male tiger cub, delivered two days ago by tigress Deepti, died suddenly at the Siddharth Garden and Zoo of the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) here today.
According to sources, Deepti had delivered a male cub on Sunday afternoon. The cub was weak since his birth and died early this morning.
Zoo authorities informed about it to a team of expert doctors who performed post-mortem of the cub.
Dr B S Naikwade, chief of Zoo, said the provisonal reports of post-mortem stated that the cub died due to acute viral enteritis.
Later, the cub was cremated at Siddharth Garden campus.
