The defence argument in the Sankararaman Murder Case in which the Kanchi Acharyas Jayendra Saraswathi and Vijayendra Saraswathi are the prime accused remained inconclusive with the Principal District and Sessions Judge C S Murugan adjourning the hearing to this afternoon for continuation of the argument.
Thirteen of the 24 accused, including the acharyas, appeared before the court today.
Defence argument for accused number 3 Sunderesa Iyyer and number 6 Kadiravan only remained and advocate Varadarajan, who appeared for Sunderesa Iyyer commenced his argument and completed it today.
Following this, Advocate Prakash appearing for Kadiravan started his argument.
As it remained inconclusive at lunch break and with Prakash claiming he needed another three to four hours to complete his argument,the judge posted the case for this afternoon.
