Andhra Pradersh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today directed the officials to speed up all the ongoing irrigation projects in Rayalaseema area after resolving the pending issues and bottlenecks.
The Chief Minister reviewed in detail all the ongoing irrigation projects of Rayalaseema costing Rs 28,000 crore. The Chief Minister asked the official to chalk out a plan of action on how to complete these projects at the earliest and provide water to farmers within the shortest possible time, an official release said here today.
The Chief Minister also asked the officials to send proposals for appointment of liaison officer at Delhi to speedy persuasion of matters with Ministry of Forests and Environment and other Ministries.
The Chief Minister als directed them to speed up the R and R package and see that every displaced person be rehabilitated properly.
